FAQ

Common questions about Disco + Google Calendar

Is there a pre-built Disco + Google Calendar automation?

Not yet, but Knit's Integrations Agent can build one — describe what you want and it researches Disco and Google Calendar's public API docs (or your own uploaded docs) and builds a working automation.

Does this require a pre-built Disco or Google Calendar connector?

No. The Agent works whether or not Disco or Google Calendar already has a pre-built connector in Knit's catalog — it researches the real API surface either way.

How long does it take to build?

Minutes to build a first working version, not weeks — you test it against real data before it goes anywhere near production.

How does linking Disco to Google Calendar help manage course schedules?

When a student enrolls in a course or a new session is published in Disco, events are automatically created on their Google Calendar calendar to keep everyone on track.

What happens in Disco when a scheduled live session changes in Google Calendar?

If an instructor updates or cancels a class event in Google Calendar, the sync can help keep schedule details aligned across both platforms.
