Common questions about Disco + Shopify
Is there a pre-built Disco + Shopify automation?
Not yet, but Knit's Integrations Agent can build one — describe what you want and it researches Disco and Shopify's public API docs (or your own uploaded docs) and builds a working automation.
Does this require a pre-built Disco or Shopify connector?
No. The Agent works whether or not Disco or Shopify already has a pre-built connector in Knit's catalog — it researches the real API surface either way.
How long does it take to build?
Minutes to build a first working version, not weeks — you test it against real data before it goes anywhere near production.
How do Shopify and Disco work together?
Connecting Shopify and Disco lets you grant educational perks or onboarding courses to store affiliates and trigger custom store requests when students complete courses.
Can affiliate milestone achievements automatically award course credentials?
Yes, earning affiliate commissions in Shopify can automatically award badges or activate users in Disco.
