Triggers & actions for Parsio and TextCortex AI

Everything Parsio and TextCortex AI can do inside a workflow — the triggers that start one and the actions that run when it fires.

Parsio Explore Parsio →

Parsio is an automated document parsing tool that uses artificial intelligence to extract structured data from emails and PDF files.

Triggers
Attachment Received

Triggers when a new email attachment is received.

Document Parsed

Triggers when Parsio finishes parsing a document. If the document contains table fields, they are returned as nested arrays.

Document Parsed (Flat Tables)

Triggers when Parsio finishes parsing a document. If the document contains table fields, they are flattened into columns.

Table Parsed

Triggers when a particular table field is parsed (new or old document). This trigger only provides table data without other mailbox regular and meta fields.

Actions
Extract Data From a Document (Async)

Imports a document into a Parsio mailbox and returns the document ID immediately, without waiting for parsing to finish. Use the Document Parsed trigger to get extracted data when it is ready. If you want parsed data back in the same Zap step, use the 'Extract Data From a Document' action instead.

Extract Data From a Document

Imports a document into a Parsio mailbox, waits for parsing to finish, and returns the extracted data in the same Zap step. ZIP files are not supported. If parsing takes too long, the action returns with parsing_in_progress: true so you can continue the workflow and retrieve the result later if needed.

FAQ

Common questions about Parsio + TextCortex AI

Is there a pre-built Parsio + TextCortex AI automation?

Not yet, but Knit's Integrations Agent can build one — describe what you want and it researches Parsio and TextCortex AI's public API docs (or your own uploaded docs) and builds a working automation.

Does this require a pre-built Parsio or TextCortex AI connector?

No. The Agent works whether or not Parsio or TextCortex AI already has a pre-built connector in Knit's catalog — it researches the real API surface either way.

How long does it take to build?

Minutes to build a first working version, not weeks — you test it against real data before it goes anywhere near production.

How do TextCortex AI and Parsio work together?

Parsio parses structured information from complex files, while TextCortex AI uses that data to draft written reports, summaries, or customer-facing copy.

Can extracted document fields be automatically reformatted?

Yes, structured data pulled by Parsio can be passed to TextCortex AI to render customized documents or summarize key findings automatically.
