Zeffy Integrations, Built by an AI Agent
Put Zeffy to work with AI and enterprise-grade automation
Google for Startups AcceleratorNo Zeffy connector? The Agent builds one.
Web search for Zeffy's public API docs, or hand over your own — either way, the Agent researches the real API surface and ships a working connector.
Try Knit FreeNot a block library. Real code.
Legacy automation tools like Zapier, Workato, and Make hand you a fixed library of pre-built steps to drag, drop, and configure around the edges. Knit's Integrations Agent writes real, custom Zeffy integration code for your exact logic.
Legacy iPaaS
- Fixed library of pre-built steps — drag, drop, configure around the edges
- Capped by whatever the vendor's already built
- AI features bolted on after the fact
Knit Integrations Agent
- Real, inspectable code for your exact Zeffy logic
- Auto-builds a missing Zeffy connector itself
- Native LLM connectors built in, not bolted on
from knit import Knit
client = Knit(api_key=KNIT_API_KEY)
@client.on("new-contact")
def create_or_update_contact(event):
return client.fundraising.create_or_update_contact(
integration_id=ZEFFY_INTEGRATION_ID,
record_id=event["id"],
fields={
"source": "Zeffy",
"synced_at": event["updated_at"],
},
# ...maps the event to a real "Create or Update Contact" call
)
Example: illustrative of what the Agent generates from a plain-English prompt — real, inspectable, and yours to edit.

Triggers when a contact is created from a form, the dashboard, an import, or the API.
Triggers when a contact is deleted, including contacts absorbed by a merge. Delivers a reference (ID) only, since the contact itself is gone.
Triggers when a contact is updated, including edits cascading from a payment.
Triggers when a payment is recorded, whatever its status (pending, succeeded, or failed): through a form, entered manually, imported, or created via the API. It does not mean the payment succeeded. To act only on payments that went through, use Successful Payment instead.
Triggers when a payment succeeds (donations, tickets, memberships, and more), and only then. Use New Payment instead to catch every payment as soon as it is recorded, whatever its status.
Triggers when a manual payment is deleted. Delivers a reference (ID) only, since the payment itself is gone.
Creates a contact, or updates the existing one if a contact already has this email address.
Permanently deletes a contact, with the same effects as deleting it from your dashboard.
Permanently deletes a payment record that was added manually or by import. Payments made online through a form cannot be deleted. This does not refund anyone or move any money.
Creates a record of a payment you already collected outside Zeffy, such as cash, a cheque or an in-kind gift. This does not charge anyone or process any money.

Common questions about the Zeffy automation
Is there a pre-built Zeffy automation?
Not yet — Zeffy isn't in Knit's Unified API or MCP Servers catalog today, so there's no pre-built connector for it either. The Integrations Agent can build the real automation (and the connector powering it) on demand instead of you waiting on our roadmap.
How does the Agent actually build the Zeffy connector?
It researches Zeffy's real public API documentation — authentication, endpoints, data schema — and writes a working connector against that real surface. You can also upload your own docs if Zeffy's aren't public.
How long does it take?
Minutes to build a first working version, not weeks — you test it against real Zeffy data before it goes anywhere near production.
What happens after the Agent builds it?
You own it. It runs the same way any Knit-built connector does — you are not left maintaining hand-rolled integration code yourself.
Could Zeffy become a real pre-built connector later?
Yes — as apps get built and used through the Agent, the highest-demand ones are natural candidates to join the pre-built Unified API/MCP Servers catalog directly.
